JUST IN: 3 Jawans Martyred, 4 Injured in Encounter With Suspected ULFA Terrorists
Three army jawans lost their lives and at least four others were injured in anencounter between security forces and suspected ULFA terrorists in Pengri, Tinsukia on Saturday.

The jawans were reportedly killed in an IED blast, followed by heavy automatic gun firing.
As per reports, the encounter is still going on and the injured soldiers have been transferred from the location. The injured jawans were brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) is a separatist outfit in Assam. It was banned by the Indian government in 1990.
