The KTC team sends a warm shout out to Sub-inspector Tashi D Bhutia, currently posted at Kranti out post under the Malbazar Police Station, for successfully solving the case of Child Kidnapping and Trafficking, and rescuing a 9 month old baby girl.
Facts of case:
A traumatized mother. 22 year old Sumita Roy filed an FIR on the 15th of Decemberm 2016, in her complaint; she accused one Chaiti Roy of having kidnapped her 9 moth old daughter Piyali Roy and taking her daughter to some unknown destination for some ulterior motive...
SI Tashi, took up the case and worked day and night into this case, his hard work paid off and from his intensive detective work he found out that the accused Chaiti Roy was in Delhi.
On the 11th of January 2017, Tashi along with three constables left for Delhi and reached on the 13th of Jan, 2017. Once there, the team along with the help of New Delhi police conducted raids at Sultanpuri PS area, New Delhi, the raid paid off and the victim girl was rescued. The team not just rescued the victim, but in the course of search they also arrested the accused Chaiti Roy...
Tashi and his team brought back Payal Roy, he says, “at Kranti the parents of the Piyali Roy were waiting for us... later her lost daughter was finally handed over to her through the Child welfare Committee of Jalpaiguri... the happiness of the parents of the lost child, as something I will forever cherish… I felt really blessed that I could reunite their family.”
Within 1 month, Tyshi and his team recovered the kidnapped child... may he keep in doing these amazing work…
Coming from the small village of Jorebunglow, SI Tashi has shown that with dedication and hard work, even the impossible becomes possible. We are hopeful that SI Tashi’s story will inspire thousands of other police officers to dedicate their life for the welfare of our nation, and more importantly that our youngsters will get inspired to join the police force and serve our community and country.
