A Darjeeling Himalayan Railway train derailed today near Kurseong.
Darjeeling DM Anurag Srivastava said, "Officials are at the accident spot involving toy train. Total 5 persons including driver received minor injuries and have been shifted to Kurseong hospital. The Railway manager is on the spot to enquire into the accident."
Among the 5 injured assistant loco pilot Mr. Bikash is said to be greviously injured.
Due to cold and rain the track was very slippery, and locals suspect that the train might jumped the tracks due to speed.
