Kalimpong Municipality ward no. 16 commissioner Barun Bhujel, who was in police custody is no more.
The police had arrested Barun during the Gorkhaland agitation in June. With his health deteriorating he was taken to a hospital in Kolkata recently, where he took his last breath.
