Gross violation of RTI Act by PHE dept of GTA: Dr. Harka Bahadur Chettri
PHE department Kurseong (Executive Engineer) refused to accept RTI letter, which was sent to them officially via RTI from the Jan Andolan Party (JAP) on November 5. The entire letters have been sent back to the sender.
JAP president Dr. Harka Bahadur Chettri said that it is a gross violation of RTI Act 2005 and termed it as a total Scam on the part of PHE, which come under the GTA (Gorkhaland Territorial Administration). This act is a clear attempt to hide massive corruption within the PHE department. Legal options are being sought on the issue.
